Although bloggers consist of all types and years, teen writers are the true vanguard of the blogging movement. Today's teens are the first generation of individuals to have grown up using the internet at every stage of their development.

Blogging is a great method for young authors to begin developing a following of readers prior to acquiring the attention of editors and publishers.

Blogs offer young individuals with a chance to exercise their effective technical aptitude, to gain visibility without endangering privacy. Teenagers are understandably attracted to blogs for their ease of building a large following without having to navigate through the pitfalls of the established publishing profession.
